To build a thriving ecosystem, FishLead Hub engages four strategic groups, each playing a vital role in transforming Africa’s blue economy.
Young professionals & students
The heartbeat of our hub. We welcome "accidental" students and early-career youths (up to age 35) ready to become intentional, high-impact aquatic leaders and innovators.
Industry mentors
Experienced professionals and veterans in fisheries and aquaculture globally. We need experts to share their wisdom through our monthly webinars and provide a real-world roadmap.
Strategic partners & organisations
Organisations United Nations specialized agency universities, international non-profit organizations, research institutes, and commercial farms. We seek collaborators to provide hands-on training, internships, and research-to-market pathways.

Ways to participate
You can join as a member to access cohort-based peer communities on WhatsApp, or apply for intensive training like the Aquaculture Skills for Impact Programme (ASIP). Students can also join local Campus Chapters at universities like UI, FUTA, UNIBEN e.t.c.
For mentors & partners
Experienced practitioners can join our mentorship roster to guide students or co-host global webinars. Farms and businesses can host student placements or farm visits, while institutions can collaborate on outreach and research-to-market projects.
